Burst Into A Blaze
On August 6th The GazettE's concert, entitled GAZEROCK FESTIVAL IN SUMMER 06 [BURST INTO A BLAZE], took place at Tokyo Big Site.
When we arrived at the station we immediately saw a lot of cosplayers, and we just followed the stream of people to the building complex of Tokyo Big Site. The concert would take place outside, but to get there you had to go through the buildings.
Fortunately, we didn't have to wait to go inside because we could skip the line. The area we entered was covered in The GazettE decorations; everywhere you looked you saw small flag-decorations with the band's logo and other designs, as well as larger flags.
The area where the concert would take place was closed of by a wall. On this wall there were several booths: a The GazettE comment Booth, where you could leave messages for the band (we spotted one by someone
from Germany!), a photograph Booth with huge posters of the band and an illustration booth, where fans could draw their fanart of the bandmembers.
There also was a costume Booth, where a few of the costumes from the PVs and performances of the band could be seen. In this same stand was the DJ Booth, where DJ Nekopunch mixed songs of The GazettE and entertained the waiting fans.
Of course there were also the merchandise stands where you could get CDs and various kinds of goodies. Next to these stands there stood Capsule Toys machines. Every capsule contained a button and a guitar pick.
At 4pm we were finally allowed to enter the concert area. On two huge video-screens next to the stage, parts of other concerts and backstage shooting of the band was shown. They also showed a part of their
concert in Germany, which took place the month before their concert at Tokyo Big Site. The stage was decorated with two flags on each side, which had the bandname and skulls on them.
Everyone stood up when the video stopped and we waited with anticipation for the band to come on stage when the intro started. Loud screaming started when the members finally showed up and took their places on the
stage.
Kai was sitting in the center, at the back of the stage on a raised platform. Uruha claimed his spot on the very right of the stage. Aoi and Reita were standing on the left and Ruki could of course be found at the front.
The concert took off with Maggots, which started with a loud bang. All the members were wearing outfits in the same style and colors. One half of the outfit was white and the other black, and they had red details on the front and a large red circle on the back. However, every member's outfit was a bit different, for example: Ruki was wearing long sleeves, while Aoi had only one sleeve, which was black.
The crowd started to applaud as they played the third song, [DIS]. After this song it was time for some MC and Ruki asked the audience if they were having a good time. They screamed in reply.
At the start of Katherine in the trunk, Ruki unzipped his coat and under his outfit he was wearing the famous Nirvana smiley t-shirt.
During this song Ruki also started to move more, walking across the stage. With the next song the other bandmembers joined him and changed spots with each other.
Fans started to applaud again when Juuyon sai no knife sounded from the speakers. Red lights were turned on and a nice lightshow started. Ruki cheered on the crowd by doing "furitsuke".
During taion, Ruki sang a part acapella, which sounded amazing. After the song it was time for another MC and he told the crowd how good he felt today.
While they played THE $OCIAL RIOT MACHINE$ a beautiful firework show started behind the stage.
The next song Ruki screamed that everyone had to jump and of course the crowd did, which made the whole floor tremble. But after a few seconds they stopped playing because Reita was having some problems with his bass. While they were trying to solve them, Ruki started to scream to keep the audience entertained. Once those problems were solved, they started the song over and everyone jumped again.
The band left the stage after playing 16 songs. When they were gone a lightshow started while everyone screamed for an encore.
Kai was the first one to come back and he did a drumsolo. After that, one by one the other members joined him on the stage. Now they were wearing shirts of their tour, except for Ruki who was still wearing the costume. During the encore they also played their new song REGRET.
After they played five songs, the concert ended with another firework show. Ruki bowed and thanked the audience.

he he he... *lagi setengah ngayal.... Ni pic - pic yang susah banget dapetnya... Bahkan Chiyu gak nemu video concert yang ni,... duuhhh... tak patut *geleng-geleng kepala sendiri....
Chiyu bakal cari lagi... do'ain ya.. biar dapet video Gazetto yang ini.... Amiiennn....
